Overview

This is a 10 mile circular walk along the seawall from the Martello Tower E at Hastings Avenue, Clacton on Sea walking westwards past Jaywick Sands, Hutley’s Beach to Lee over Sands. From there we will turn inland towards St Osyth where we will have lunch. after lunch we will turn eastwards and return to Clacton via Daltes Lane and the nearby fishing lake.

Tendring residents with parking permits will be able to park FOC in the Hastings Road Car Park adjacent to the Martello Tower E. The others might choose to pay to park in that Car Park or park on the roadside in Hastings Avenue, which shouldn’t be a problem at this time of year.
