Overview

We descend to Moleskin and across country to Harlington, then back beside the railway line to ascend onto the Sundon Hills.  We join the Icknield Way, which brings us back to the car park after 6.5 miles and picnic lunch.

We then move on to the tree-clad hill of Sharpenhoe Clappers itself and circle round and along the flank of the ridge above Barton-le-Clay.  We pass through Streatley and back to the car park.

There is roughly 520ft to climb before lunch and another 250ft in the afternoon.

We may be ready for the pub in Streatley at the end.
