Overview

Circular walk beside the River Nene into part of Ferry Meadows Country Park.  We join the path alongside the Nene Valley Railway before heading over Ermine Street to Water Newton (Durobrivae); having lunch next to the lock and returning along the riverside once more via Hereward Way with its sites of Roman villas and kilns, as well as the disused Castor Mill.
