We are the South Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This Sunday ramble starts from the Shear Water lake and heads west through Longleat Forest reaching the beautiful Heaven's Gate for a coffee stop with views over Longleat Park & House. The walk is mainly on excellent tracks. We then ascend to the trig point and Beacon on Cold Kitchen Hill where we should be rewarded with far reaching views. Map: EX143.
