This is an 11.5 mile walk, starting from the rural village of Sheldwich, which is situated in the far south of Swale Borough, and lies 3 miles away from the market town of Faversham.
Starting from the tiny cricket pitch at the Lees, our route heads off in a northwards direction, soon reaching North Street, to then cross the busy A251. We continue through Badgin Wood, followed by Rice Wood, turning south along Throwley Road and onwards passing Faversham Golf Club, before meandering our way to Throwley church, for our picnic lunch break.
After our stop, we head to Throwley Forstal, to return to the A251 at Badlesmere, for drinks in the Red Lion, before we finish off through Badlesmere Court and back to Sheldwich.
There will be as per usual snack/lunch break as detailed above, plus pub stop on this delightful circuit.
