Overview

A walk in the low-lying Cam valley.  From Shepreth the walk goes via the villages of Foxton and Fowlmere, touches the edge of RSPB Fowlmere nature reserve, then follows a stretch of the river Shep before heading back into Shepreth.

Meet at Shepreth Village Hall - 2 Station Road, Shepreth SG8 6PZ - car park is reached down the side of the village hall. If this is full, street parking available nearby, eg on Meldreth Road, or at Shepreth train station. If travelling by train from Cambridge, the 09.26 arrives at Shepreth station at 09:38. The village hall is a short distance down Station Road (just before the red phone box). NOTE: Industrial action might affect services on 29 July; please check your journey closer to the date of travel.
