Overview

Circular from Shepreth via Barrington and Harlton, includes views of Lime Quarry (disused) and radio telescopes, the landscape south, Halton church, Barrington's village green and quaint thatched cottages.

Lunch will be taken at Harlton church.

Refreshment potential at the Royal Oak Barrington. The pub is about 45 minutes walk from the railway station.

Meet at Shepreth railway station car park 10.45am.
Cambridge railway station 10.24 arrives at Shepreth at 10.37.
Returns to Cambridge are 50 mins past the hour.

Shepreth station has some restrictions on the car park, but there should be roadside parking along Station Road Shepreth.

Shepreth station has no toilets, so please use the toilets at Cambridge or on the train.

Bring some food, a drink, waterproofs and walking foot wear. The weather may be hot or cold, so be prepared for the day.
