Our walk begins in the lovely village of Sherborne and takes us across the fields to Windrush Mill and then up to Great Rissington, before descending down into the valley again to Sherborne. The final part of the walk takes us through woods at Sherborne Park, with its woodland sculptures and ice house. Throughout this walk there are charming views across the Sherborne Park National Trust estate.
There is parking along the main village street, but it can get busy in the Summer so please park with consideration, arrive in good time, and car share if you can.
Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.
Dogs welcome, but due to livestock in fields please keep them on a lead at all times.
Meet at the war memorial opposite Sherborne village shop (Sherborne, Nr. Northleach GL54 3DH). Please arrive c.15 mins before the start time as we’ll be setting off promptly at 10.30am. There is parking along the village street. Please park considerately and car share if possible.
