Overview

Circular walk taking in Sherburn Willows nature reserve, Newthorpe village, Hartley Wood and Huddleston. The terrain is mainly arable farmland and woodland, undulating countryside with views as far as the Lincolnshire Wolds (weather permitting). Total ascent is only 116m, and although some of the paths are muddy it is mostly well surfaced farm tracks, so fairly easy walking. There are two stiles and a couple of level crossings to negotiate, but all road walking is along quiet roads.

Please bring a packed Lunch.

Sorry No Dogs

Note: we use a booking system. Please book a place by contacting the walk leader, although we do accept walkers on the day.
