Overview

A beautiful walk along the Darent Valley to Kingfisher Bridge, then uphill through Lullingstone Park. We should see some wildflowers and possibly butterflies in Lullingstone Country Park. We return along The Terrace with a steep descent back to Shoreham. Three stiles.

There are toilets at Lullingstone Country Park, about an hour into the walk. There is a small RAF museum in Shoreham which is open from 10am to 4pm and they have a cafe, you may want to visit before the walk, as we will probably finish the walk after 4pm.

Filston Lane CP, Shoreham (TN14 7SR, TQ518614) Two trains an hour on Sunday to Shoreham Station (Kent). Short walk from the station to the car park. There is also parking at the station if the Filston Lane car park is full, or park with discretion on nearby roadsides, so be sure to allow enough time!
