*THIS WALK IS PART OF THE SHR WARWICK GETAWAY WHICH IS FULLY BOOKED*
We walk directly from The Warwick Arms hotel at 10am down to the river Avon by firstly crossing the busy A425 at controlled traffic lights & then entering a beautiful formal garden. Here we meet the river & continue under hanging willow trees gently swaying in the wind.
Further along we take a tangent path taking us to the canal which passes over the river. Arriving at A452 crossing busy entrance/exit to recycling centre arriving at roundabout junction with major roadworks- caution!
We then pick up the river again temporarily before rejoining the canal where we stop at The Moorings Pub for refreshments and banana break.
We exit at Cliff Hill before returning to Historic Warwick by some paved road walking where you will be free to browse or return to the hotel approximately 1pm.
