Overview

This leisurely 4 mile circular walk starts from the Wolferstan Arms in Shuttington. The route passes Alvecote Pools Nature Reserve, crosses fields and uses farm tracks. There are 6 stiles and the terrain is mostly flat. We will pass the site of the Stratfold Barn Railway, a private multi-gauge railway that is home for a variety of historic steam, diesel and electric locomotives.
