An interesting delve into the historic environs of Southborough Common taking in the lovely C10th Bidborough CE Church with its far reaching views to the old windmill ; George & Dragon PH Speldhurst (one of the oldest Inns in England dating from 1212AD); the old bomb crater; and many other interesting local facts. Bring picnic lunch. Pub stop en route and at end.
