Overview

This is a linear walk.

We are doing the trail in reverse walking from Troon to Dundonald.

The walk takes us from Troon beach over Royal Troon golf course, then passing Crosbie Church on our way to Fullarton Woods. Thereafter, there is some street walking until we pick up the trail again in Loans. After Loans we follow the trail though woodland on our way to Dundonald Castle.

Depending on weather parts of walk could be slippy so walking poles recommended.

Walk distance - 7 miles

Walk grade - C+
