We will have a short walk in Robinswood Hill Nature Reserve. This hill is an outlier of the main Cotswolds Escarpment and being just two miles from the city centre, is a very popular green space where local people enjoy the countryside.
Our walk will ascend 540 ft. to the top of the hill where, from the beacon, we will have views over the city and the surrounding countryside.
N.B. Start time is approximate, depending on traffic from Swansea
Description: The old dockland has been transformed into a shopping area with restaurants while still retaining its Victorian charm of tall warehouses nestling close to the waterfront.
It is home to the National Waterways Museum and just a short distance away are the city centre and cathedral.
We will also have a short walk in Robinswood Hill Nature Reserve.
The walk is optional so if you just want to come along for the docks, we will first stop in Gloucester before the coach takes us to the start of the walk.
