A flat walk for the winter months that demonstrates the many open spaces around the river Taff.
The walk passes through Pontcanna fields, pass the Catherdal and on up the western side of the river. After crossing the river we should go through Hailey Park but as Welsh Water have a major construction project that has closed part of the Taff Trail we need to follow some streets until we return to the Taff Trail near Llandaff North and continue via Blackweir and Sophia Gardens.
There are no stiles or climbs on the walk. Most of the time we are walking on tarmac or compressed paths. However there is likely to be muddy sections.
