We are the East Dorset Ramblers. We offer friendship and company on walks of from 5 to 15 miles from the Purbecks to the New Forest and beyond.
The start is a pleasant Avenue walk to Tuckton, then along by the Stour and through Solent Meads golf course to Hengistbury Head. We walk along the harbour side, then turn and come back along the top of the Head. We then follow the coast, dropping down to the promenade at its beginning and following this back to Southbourne.
May be muddy in places.

Meet at the small green at the intersection of Carbery Avenue and Watcombe Road, West Southbourne. Plenty of road parking on Watcombe Road or Leigham Vale Road on the opposite side of Carbery Avenue
