Overview

Much to enjoy on the final stages of our journey with the open south Hertfordshire countryside and riverside walking. The route takes us on parts of the Timberland Trail, the Hertfordshire  Way and the River Ver Trail. Bring a picnic lunch and drinks. Toilets available at Elstree station before the start on the rail side of the ticket barrier {if you don’t have a Freedom Pass ask a member of staff to let you through the barrier).

After completing the 5 stages of our 35 miles journey from St Paul’s Cathedral let’s eat cake in the St Albans Cathedral cafe to celebrate. A Pilgrim Passport can be purchased from the cathedral shop and a member of staff will stamp it to verify completion of the journey.

The walk leader is Kevin 07749 991949.
