We are the Vale of Clwyd Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Caution: the layby is not large so do try and share transport - toilets available on the way round
This is a leisurely circular walk which will include the banks of the River Elwy, open countryside through fields as well as footpaths criss-crossing the St Asaph Business Park. It's the ideal walk if you want to test your fitness or if you are recovering from illness: there are kissing gates but no stiles at all. It's not all on the flat however and we will take a couple of inclines at an easy pace. It's semi-rural but we're not far from town. (Work has begun on a 40-acre nature reserve at Green Gates on Cwttir Lane). We also go through Gwernigron Farm (Grade II listed) in St Asaph before rejoining the Roe passing Spring Gardens Holiday Park.
