Overview

A varied walk across fields, through ancient woodland and along the banks of the River Cray. A chance to see the historical village of St Mary Cray, which dates back to the 13th century and was mentioned in the Domesday Book. A leisurely short Sunday afternoon stroll.

Meet at the corner of Somerden Road and Waldenhurst Road near the R4 bus stop in Waldenhurst Road. There is one R4 bus an hour on Sundays. Park with discretion on roadside, there are side roads as well as Somerden and Waldenhurst roads to choose from.
