We are the Medway Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A triangular walk. The first stretch takes us to Reculver where we pause for the morning break. Toilets nearby. The second stretch follows the sea wall with views of Margate in the distance. Before leaving the sea we stop for a picnic lunch on the beach. The tide should be high if anyone wants a paddle - or even a swim! The final stretch returns to the start point with the church tower providing a target. Two pubs available at the end. Finish time 2pm.
Terrain: Flat. Some short stretches of quiet roads. A long stretch by the sea.
Meet and park at the top end of Shuart Lane. We will meet adjacent to the church. Be careful not to block access to stables etc. (Shuart Lane, St Nicholas at Wade nearest post code: CT7 0NP).
