Overview

Hello Everyone

Something a bit different for you this Sunday in the form of a semi-urban walk around Stafford to keep us out of the really muddy stuff at least. That's not a guarantee by the way!😁  Rob & Nige's route takes in all sorts including a short stretch of canal, urban greenways, and estate paths. Pretty much flat throughout.

Fancy it? Great! You're most welcome to join us of course. We'll see you there.Ā

Registration: 09.45. Walk start: 10.00.Ā

Post walk socials in The Wildwood who have kindly granted the guys permission for us to park alongside.

DirectionsĀ fromĀ the south via the A34. Satnav is your best bet if you're coming in from elsewhere.

Pick up the A34 via Cannock and follow the signage for Stafford. We shall now navigate by pubs (a tried and tested method) so pass The Chetwynd Arms on your left at Brocton and continue along the A34, direction Stafford, to then pass The Seven Stars, again on your left. Continue for 0.9 mile into the suburbs to pass through the pedestrian lights and then turn left 100 yards later into Wildwood Drive with the Co-op supermarket visible in front of you.

Turn immediately left again and proceed for a further 100 yards to pass The Wildwood pub on your right after which turn right into the car park on the far side of the pub.

There's a couple of screenshots in the photos above to aid you in the latter stages.
