Overview

This 6.6 mile circular walk starts in the lovely village of Stanstead Abbotts.  We move through the outskirts of the village to Rye Meads, a large ancient flood meadow that attracts a wide variety of birds, as well as numerous other animals and plant life. The last stretch walks through Roydon marina and along the River Lee Navigation back to Stanstead Abbotts and a welcoming drink at the Red Lion pub.
