This is a walk through glorious woodlands, passing by interesting country cottages (and, of course, Stansted House). It is a true walk through rural countryside, with some undulating sections and one steeper one but in the main, it is relatively easy going. There are lovely views over farming countryside, lots of trees, birds and animals in the fields. Bring a picnic.
The walk finishes near the Pavilion Tearooms, set in a beautiful walled garden at Stansted Park Garden Centre and is well worth a visit. There is also the opportunity to use the toilet facilities there before and after the walk.
