Overview

Down Winstone Lane to the head of Mudbank Creek (just below Kitley Lake).  Along the top of the bank past delightful mature trees with glimpses of the creek and the old railway bridge.  Join Steer Point Lane by cottages build from the old brickworks.  Up the lane and across pastureland nearly to the A386.  Cut down to the very end of Cofflete Creek.  Take the lane past the lovely hamlet of Brixton Tor.  Before Otter Nursery, turn off on ot he old railway, now a Sustrans cycle route.  Follow this to the Elburton Inn.

You may have parked at Haye Road CP.  In any case, meet at the bus stop by the Elburton Inn to take Bus Number 3 at 10.22, getting off just at the end of Brixton at Winstone Lane to start walking.
