Stoke Goldington to Salcey Forest

Wonderful woodland, farmland and forest walk, despite a short stretch alongside the M1. We start along the high street to Dag Lane. We then walk past Stokepark wood and join Midshires Way past a large solar power field and on to the M1 at Salcey Green. We then walk north to the southern end of Salcey Forest. After a short stretch in the forest, we will stop for a lunch or snack break. We then return via farm field paths to the church as Stoke Goldington and then back to High Street,

There are some stiles on this route and some streams to cross, so be prepared for muddy patches.
