Starting from the National Trust car park at Stowe Gardens, we head towards the Corinthian Arch for fine views of Stowe School. We then walk around the outside perimeter of Stowe Park before heading off across the fields to Chackmore and Maids Morton. From Maids Morton we make our way down a secluded leafy track to Buckingham where public toilets are available. From Buckingham we return to the car park via a field track parallel to Stowe Avenue.
The terrain is mainly flat and a combination of parkland, fields and hard paths. There are a few stiles.
Parking at the National Trust car park is free, so no need to be a NT member.
Bring a packed lunch.
At the end of the walk there is the option to visit the cafe and shop. Again, NT membership is not required.
