We are the Basildon Greenway Ramblers.
A walk rarely far from the water, past three rivers, two canals and a lake.
Walking through the Queen Elizabeth Olympic park Park along the river Lee joining the Hertford Union canal. Then on to Victoria Park joining the Regent’s canal and around the limehouse basin. Finally we follow the Thames path to Canary Wharf. Paved surfaces throughout.
Pubs and cafes along route for refreshments.
Westfield shopping centre, Stratford , just inside entrance by Pret A Manger outlet on the RHS. Westfield is adjacent to Stratford Railway station with services from Liverpool street, Southend, Billericay etc and TFL services including the Elizabeth line.
Finish Point: Canary Wharf underground station with Jubilee line services back to Stratford.
