Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.
Pace: gentle.
Walk details
We start our walk at the station heading south to join the Thames path for a short stretch before crossing the river into Streatley. At about 3 miles in we have a slight hill that takes us up into the Holies and gives some spectacular views over Goring and the surrounding area. We then head down into the valley and through the Holies Down Wildlife Conservation Site. After passing through Common Woods we begin heading back to cross the river to end our walk at the station.
