We start from outside the Lansdowne Arms, A quick downhill as we head to Nockets Hill and then to Ash Hill farm. We then make our way back to the beginning and pass the pub again. For those who want a slightly shorter route, you can finish there, otherwise we will be carrying on along the road, past the church and will do a loop back going through the gate in to Bowood, and then walk along the edge of the golf course. This last part will be just over a mile.

For those members who are happy to car share, we meet first at the Bath Road car park in Chippenham. (“Pay and Display”). Lifts are suggested at 70p.

The walk starts from outside the Lansdown Arms pub in Derry Hill. and parking is available along Church Road, as well as on the off-shoot roads from it. Please park thoughtfully in the village. O/S Explorer No 156.
