Easy walking and cheese toasties afterwards - how delightful does that sound? Circular walk on the Surrey Sussex border near Rudgwick.
Learn more about why the Low Weald is best walked in summer, and what was discovered here in 1984. The walk follows bridleways with firm surfaces, beautifully mown paths through woodland, a disused railway line that has become the Downs Link, and a final loop over to Rudgwick. The route has been extended to avoid cattle with young, it is now 6.5 miles.
After the walk we hope you will partake of cheese toasties or other refreshments at The Milk Churn, where we are parking.
