A walk from Swavesey busway terminal that takes in both sides of the River Ouse.
This walk has only been recce'd in sections some time ago, so there may be changes.
Meet at the Swavesey guided busway stop for a 10:45 a.m. departure.
For car drivers there is parking just north of the busway in the "guided busway drop off area" near Advantage MG, and to the South in Swavesey, in Market street for example (will require a walk).
Google maps may give the wrong location, enter Advantage MG CB24 4QZ, which is next to the Swavesey bus stop.
For buses, the A departs Downing college at 9.52 and arrives at Swavesey at 10.28, the B 10.05 from Drummer street arrives at Swavesey at 10.42. The T1 10.16 from Jesus college arrives at 10.45.
We will take lunch by the river at convenient time.
There are two pubs by the river for refreshment at 5 and 6.5 miles.
Please bring a packed lunch, plenty of water, waterproofs, sun cream and a hat.
