We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet 10.30am at Martins Heron Station Car Park (free), trains also run from Staines to Martins Heron, 9.46am from Staines, arriving 10.10am and back to Staines 17 & 47 minutes passed the hour (please check). A leisurely 6 mile walk via Swinley Forest, Englemere Pond, Longhill Park and stopping for a picnic lunch in Lily Hill park sitting at the country’s longest picnic bench carved from a single tree. After lunch we will ramble around Lily Hill Park a little further before making our way back to the station car park.
