Tal y Bont Circular.

We will walk along the canal towards the Bryn Ore tramroad, which we will walk along until  we reach a stile which we will climb over and make a descent down towards the old rail line from Torpantau to Tal y Bont. Turning left we will hit the Taff Trail and after a short distance we will see the resevoir in the Glyn valley.  Retracing our steps we will follow the line through the forest which will be lovely and cool, until we reach a gate, cross a meadow ,  to the second stile,a path will lead us along the banks of the Caerfanell river which we will cross via a lovely concrete bridge. Turning right we will walk through the meadows alongside the river up towards our third and last stile onto the road leading us back to the village car park. 

Those who wish can walk to the White Hart for a cooling drink.
