Overview

A moderate 11 mile circular to the summit of Tal Y Fan from Sychnant Pass

Tal Y Fan is the Northern most summit of the Carneddau Mountain range and although not the highest it does offer exception views from its summit.

Much of the walk is over open moorland but the final ascent to the summit includes a short section of lower grade scrambling where you will need to use your hands.

Walking poles are recommended
