Overview

From the People’s Market in Hambledon our route will take us past the church and school, then through the vineyard to the top of Windmill Down. Our route then takes us to Brook Lane passing Teglease Farm en route to Teglease Down where we soon follow an historic Ridgeway. On a day with good visibility we may see  the Isle of Wight in the distance. We then head downhill beside Coombe Wood to Chidden Lane and return by the present day Hambledon Cricket Ground at Ridge Meadow. If we are lucky we may see buzzards, Red Kite or the very rare Corn Bunting on the route.

No booking required.
