Overview

Today's walk will take us from Theale to Goring & Streatley via Sulham Wood and the River Thames. Starting at Theale station, we'll walk through Theale village and past IKEA before walking through Harefield Copse and Sulham Wood. From here, we'll then Pangbourne and the River Thames towards our lunch stop at The Greyhound Inn. After lunch, we'll walk through Whitchurch before turning onto Hartslock Bridleway to walk along the Thames Path to walk through the wooded area alongside the River Thames. This footpath will take you into Goring & Streatley, where we'll make our way to our finishing point at Goring & Streatley station. For those who want a pint at the end of the walk, we’ll be stopping at The Miller of Mansfield, which is a short walk from the station.
