Overview

We walk from the start point, through the Nature Reserve and quarry workings and over the fields to Doynton for our coffee break at Holy Trinity Church.  Walking on through lanes and footpaths we pass through the grounds of the Church of James the Great in Abson and then on to St Annes Church, Siston for lunch.  After, lunch, we return to Wick by way of St Anne's Well. Webb's Heath and Blue Lodge.

The walk is on lanes and footpaths/bridleways and is relatively easy, though there are a couple of climbs and mud may be a challenge in some places in November.

Although there are no spectacular views to be had, it is pretty countryside.

There are no toilets or cafes on the route, though there is a pub/restaurant in Wick at the end. Bring food and drink for the day.
