Overview

An afternoon walk around the rural village of Knockholt on the top of the North Downs.  The route will take in the picturesque valleys around the village and finish with a visit to the Keyhole and its unique view over Chevening (traditionally the country residence of the Foreign Secretary).

As this walk is the prelude to the Group's lawn bowls evening, please don't bring any dogs. The walk will start and finish at the Knockholt Bowls Club car park on Ivy Lane, but for those not staying for the bowls, the Three Horseshoes is nearby for a drink. There have been major roadworks along Rushmore Hill, so check your SatNav to check your chosen route is open.
