We are the Derby and South Derbyshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
South Derbyshire villages and countryside in autumn. Distance will depend partly on weather.
The group does not stop at cafes or pubs for lunch, so please bring enough food and drinks with you to last the whole walk. We usually stop for a coffee break an hour or so into the walk, and have a packed lunch around 1230-1300, although weather and a suitable location will affect both timings.
Risk assessment: The walk leader has assessed this walk for the following risks, but during the walk others may become evident. You will come across, stiles, gates and other path furniture, hedges etc. You may come across road crossings, fields with crops, muddy/slippery sections, farm livestock & warning signs. You should remain stay alert and take individual responsibility
