Overview

This Sunday with Alison we have a 7.5.mile leisurely/moderate circular walk from Ticknall to Carver's Rocks, taking in Foremark Reservoir and the course of the old Ticknall Tramway, including its tunnels, together with the old limestone workings that the tramway served.

The route is generally flat on field and woodland paths apart from one undulating section with steps. A little road walking and approx 8 stiles. Muddy in places, poles recommended.
