Overview

An interesting and beautiful circle exploring the old Somerset coalfield, now a green and fertile area of woodland hills and the Cam stream.

We leave from Timsbury and enjoy glorious views across the Cam Valley  and drop down to the Limestone Link. We follow the valley past the site of the old Camerton colliery which has become a nature reserve and past old spoil heaps which have been wooded over

We climb up to Tunley where we will have a short coffee break before making our way back to Timsbury.
