Overview

Starting at Tintern a beautiful walk from Wireworks Bridge up through Caswell Woods picking up the Offa’s Dyke path and passing the Devils Pulpit before descending down to the Greenway and returning to Tintern.

PLEASE ARRIVE AT TINTERN AT 9.30am. This walk starts from the Tintern Wireworks Bridge over the River Wye at 10.00 a.m. so that's where we will meet, but please arrive in good time to find a parking space and to walk from the car parks to the start point.  Car Parking is available at the Wireworks car park (free) and at the Anchor Inn by the abbey (£5.00, but refundable if any food or drink is purchased there).

The walk will start from the Wireworks bridge over the Wye at 10.00 a.m., but park at Tintern Wireworks car park. Turn off the A466 in Tintern, signed to Abbey Tintern Furnace. The car park is on the right after 1/4 mile. Alternatively, park at the Anchor Inn car park.
