Overview

Hello Everyone

We thought it about time we revisited the fine countryside around Thorpe, Tissington, & Parwich north of Ashbourne so here we are with a "figure-of-eight" style walk doing just that. Field footpaths, parts of the Tissington Trail, and a bit of lane walking all feature, as do some steady climbs making this a Moderate to Strenuous grade walk. Approximately 20 stiles of various descriptions and undoubtedly some mud in places.

No loo's at the start but available at our coffee break an hour or so into the walk. Or on the drive up at Ashbourne Leisure Centre DE6 1DR.

Registration: 09.45. Walk start: 10.00.  Walk leader: Barry C (07811 141484).

As always, you're most welcome to join us. If this is your first Chase Ramblers event it'd be great if you could let us know you're coming along so we can keep our 👀's open for you. Cheers! If you've been before just turn up as we'll no doubt recognise you (hopefully!🤔).

To round off the day - and seating space permitting - post walk refreshments will be taken at The Old Dog pub within staggering distance of the start & finish.

See you there on Sunday folks!
