Overview

From the village of Meerbrook, we take a steady climb through farmland and moor to Gun Hill at 385m. On a good day there are splendid views all around from the top. A gentle walk down, across the valley and then up again to join the Staffordshire Morlands Walks, returning alongside the reservoir. Generally good tracks and farmland. Bird watching opportunities. Tea and cake in the visitors centre, time permitting.
