Overview

This walk includes a section of old Roman road between Llandovery and Brecon, Usk Reservoir, and return via tracks and some road walking. There is a long flat section with some hills either side. The walk will pass old Roman forts and there will be good views across to the Black Mountains (weather permitting).

We will car share from Priory Street car park in Carmarthen, £6 contribution for the driver please

The return journey from Carmarthen is approximately 70 miles and will take about 55 minutes.

We should complete the walk by approximately 4.30pm and be back in Carmarthen by about 5.30pm.
