Overview

This walk takes us through the lovely Dorset countryside, passing an impressive manor house, an abbey, hamlets with ancient churches and stunning views across the county, (weather willing!) The terrain is easy with good paths and tracks and a little lane walking, mainly at the start and finish. There is some gradient, as there are steady uphill sections but no steep climbs. There are a number of stiles to conquer as well. It is 13 miles long so at the top end of moderate.

Please bring a picnic but no dogs.
