Starting in the car park at the end of Cordy’s Lane, the walk goes down to the river Orwell and then turns up to return at the top of the valley. Bring your binoculars as the tide will be low and wading birds will be feeding in the mud onshore. We will have a short stop at one of the hides to look at the activity on the freshwater lakes (if there is space) so the walk may take a bit longer. Bring light refreshments, dogs on leads, warm clothes, mud resistant footwear. No stiles, uneven path in places, gentle hills. NOTE there are no public toilets on route.
