Overview

Enjoy the rolling landscape of this relatively hilly part of Suffolk!  We will walk from the car park at Stoke By Nayland through the churchyard along quiet lanes and beside the river, ascending through woodland and continuing along good field paths and tracks to Withermarsh Green.  We will then head towards the north of Polstead passing through the woodland where hopefully the bluebells will be in bloom before entering the village.  We will return to Stoke by Nayland via the pond and Polstead Church along the river valley and back to the start.  There will be two short breaks for a drink and a snack.
