Overview

A historical walk from Troedyrhiw, a village in Merthyr Tydfil, initially to Aberfan. There will be time to reflect on the cause, impact and legacy of the worst mining disaster ever in 1966. From Aberfan we walk down the Taff trail to the early 1800's Pont y Gwaith bridge across the River Taff. Then  back to Troedyrhiw initially following the ridge towards Mynydd Cilfach-yr-Encinitas.
